Can you say why America is the greatest country in the world?

I have to watch this show.

You can see it here: http://youtu.be/1U4ZhFDFYvE

This was okay right up until it turned into a Pepperidge Farm commercial. Ah, yes, the good old days when we weren’t scared all the time, paid our fair share, never “beat our chest” and cared about their neighbors. It’s all the fault of the twenty-somethings! That “worst. generation. ever.” that Sorkin mentions in this speech. Can you believe that they’ve only been able to vote for a few years and they’ve ruined the entire political landscape in the US?! You’d think a previous generation (one that had the time, influence and ignorance to mess things up) contributed to the perceived decline that Sorkin mentions, but nope- it’s all the twenty-somethings fault.
Historical revisionism to induce a false sense of patriotism is exactly the opposite of what this show is supposed to be about- telling the truth.
